Cameron + Darian | A Lake City Colorado Wedding at The Tack Shed at Bridal Bay
On August 29, 2026, Cameron and Darian said “I do” at The Tack Shed at Bridal Bay in Lake City, Colorado, with Lake San Cristobal and the mountains behind them. August 29th was already a special date for these two. Exactly six years earlier, Cameron proposed on top of a mountain in Estes Park, surrounded by some of their closest friends. Choosing the same date for their wedding felt pretty perfect. Cameron and Darian met in October 2018 at their favorite bar in Columbia, Missouri, The Deuce. They were introduced through mutual friends and were pretty much inseparable from the beginning. Darian knew Cameron was the one after losing her best friend early in their relationship. Through one of the hardest times in her life, his support never wavered. Then they became parents, and she says she fell in love with him even more.
They knew they wanted to get married in Colorado, and when they found The Tack Shed at Bridal Bay, they booked it without ever visiting. The backdrop along Lake San Cristobal looked almost too good to be real, and they knew they had to see it for themselves. Their wedding day started with a first look that included their two sweet little boys, one of my favorite moments of the day. The ceremony overlooked Lake San Cristobal with the mountains in the background. After six years of being engaged and building a life and family together, Cameron and Darian finally got to say “I do” on the very same date their engagement began.
The celebration continued under the tent, with the evening light flooding through and giving the entire reception a beautiful glow. Cameron and Darian shared their first dance to At Last by Etta James, which felt pretty fitting after the journey that brought them here. From a mountaintop proposal in Estes Park to a wedding beside Lake San Cristobal six years later, August 29th will always belong to these two.
