Eileen + Nolan | Emerald Ranch, Creede, Colorado

Eileen and Nolan were married on September 20th, 2025, at her family’s ranch high above Creede the very place where she grew up riding horses and dreaming about this day. The mountains showed off in full fall color, gold and red aspens surrounding the ceremony with that unmistakable Colorado magic.

It hadn’t rained much all year, but it poured on their wedding day. No one seemed to mind. The goal was simple, marry the one I love. Umbrellas popped up, guests laughed, and Eileen rode in on horseback, radiant and beautiful. The rain only made it more memorable, a perfect reminder that love doesn’t need perfect weather to be a perfect day.

They said their vows beneath the aspens, surrounded by the people who love them most. Before the ceremony, friends and family shared stories about Eileen the kind that had everyone laughing, tearing up, and remembering just how special she is. One of the sweetest moments was watching her mom kneel in the aisle as Eileen rode in on horseback, eyes full of pride and love, completely taking in the sight of her daughter on her wedding day.

After the ceremony, Eileen and Nolan rode off on horseback for a quiet moment together before joining the celebration.

The celebration continued in the barn a cozy mix of string lights, a red-brick path, moss accents, and deep burgundy tones. Every detail felt personal. Eileen made the sugar flowers on the cake by hand, spending more than fifteen hours crafting each one with care, while the cake itself was made by Brandon Fimple. The flowers were ordered via FiftyFlowers and arranged beautifully by bridesmaid Olivia McNair. The barn had been transformed into a dream venue thanks to Eileen’s parents, Brian and Rosemary, who spent months preparing the space.

Eileen’s dress came from the Ava Laurénne bridal, her hair was styled by the talented Susan Madrid, and she did her own makeup. Friends and family pitched in everywhere helping make this day as magical as possible. Adrian Egolf and Jun Jang performed their first dance song, “Forever Ain’t Long Enough,” adapted just for them.

Their love story began with easy conversation, long talks about books, and adventures that took them from city lights to mountain trails. They met and felt something special right away a feeling that was reaffirmed over and over during the early months of dating, from discussing favorite books over Indian food during a Denver lightning storm to the first “I love you” months later at a speakeasy. Nolan proposed in November 2024 at the Lochsa Lodge in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, a favorite spot for the couple. He rented a cabin for the weekend and proposed in front of the breathtaking lodge vista.

When asked about their favorite thing about each other, they reflected on the countless little ways they enrich each other’s lives from shared adventures to quiet, meaningful moments.

Choosing their wedding date and location was simple: Eileen had always imagined her wedding at her family’s ranch, and over the years, Nolan had grown to love the place too. Fall in Colorado is a favorite season for both, and they did everything they could to plan around a perfect fall date.

Rain, horses, laughter, and love; it truly was a perfect day.
