Reid & Jenna Married in Creede, Colorado

Just like a blizzard, Reid and Jenna’s love blew in strong on a snowy day in El Dorado, Kansas over board games and beer.  These two promised themselves to each other on September 5th 2021 in the beautiful mountain town of Creede, Colorado at the family home of Reid’s Grandparents.  Having this momentous celebration on family ground was equally important and special to both the Johnson and Bruce family. 

Reid and Jenna’s love story just got better with time and in true romantic fashion, Reid proposed to Jenna on Valentine’s Day, 2020 on the top of the mountain at Ski Cooper in Leadville, CO.  These two built their love with equal admiration and strong mutual qualities that gave them a base they knew they could depend on. Jenna with a dedication to growth and perseverance, Reid with an innate ability to take obstacles in stride without worry, their love grew in respect and admiration. Reid knew the day he walked into the brewery that he wasn’t leaving without having Jenna in his life forever.  Jenna soon realized that Reid had a special quality that she had never seen or felt before.  He went above and beyond to show her how much he cared.  The answer was “YES” and the planning commenced for a celebration of their dreams. 

With a shared love for all things breakfast, they had an early morning ceremony and a lovely brunch reception.  The sun shined bright on their love and their family gathered in celebration over crepes.  The crepes replaced cake, made by the local Bristol Head Bakery, and infused the sweetness in Reid and Jenna’s love.  A one-of-a-kind dress, suspenders, and puppy love brought the Johnson & Bruce family together under the bright white sunshine in the small mountain town of Creede.  Their ceremony at the home of Reid’s Grandparents was followed by a unique brunch reception at Cottonwood Cove in devotion for their futures, newly as one.
