Izzy & Tyler, Say I do at the Tack Shed at Bridal Bay in Lake City, Colorado

Izzy and Tyler were married on September 5th at the Tack Shed at Bridal Bay in Lake City, Colorado, with Lake San Cristobal as the backdrop for their day.

Their story started years before that in high school, where they mostly picked on each other. After graduation, they went two or three years without talking until Tyler happened to walk into the boutique where Izzy was working. From there, the two found their way back to each other.

After buying their first home together, Tyler planned the proposal. Izzy’s friends took her out for a girls’ day, and when she came home, she found the hallway lined with candles leading into the living room. At the end was Tyler with a ring—and a dachshund puppy. Pretty hard to top that one.

Although Izzy and Tyler live in Texas, they spent several years traveling for work and fell in love with the mountains along the way. Tyler’s family had also been coming to Lake City for years, so choosing it for their wedding brought together a place that was sentimental to his family and somewhere they had grown to love together.

On September 5th, they made it official at the Tack Shed at Bridal Bay, surrounded by their family and friends and one of the best views Lake City has to offer.

Their wedding day came together with Cake Me Away in Gunnison creating the cake, Kukka Flowers handling the florals, Izzy’s dress from Luv Bridal in Houston, and hair and makeup by Kaitlyn Young.
