Ben and Samantha chose September 10, 2026, to celebrate their wedding in the mountains outside Creede, Colorado. With their closest friends and family, a beautiful September day, and a few unexpected moments, it was a wedding to remember!
The two stayed at the Cabins at Lost Trail and snuck away early that morning for sunrise photos at Brewster Park. There is something pretty special about having those quiet moments together before the rest of the wedding day gets underway.
Back at the cabins, getting ready came with a little adventure! The property is completely off-grid, and after a little too much electricity was used, the power temporarily went out. That didn't stop the girls, though! The bridesmaids pulled out their cell phone flashlights and helped Samantha finish getting ready. Sometimes you just have to roll with it!
Their ceremony was held at Hilltop Cabin, surrounded by the people closest to them. Afterward, everyone gathered for homemade BBQ and macarons for dessert. A relaxed celebration with good food, family, friends, and plenty of beautiful mountain scenery.
